She ferried people, bicycles, cars and trucks ladened with life sustaining perishables, home goods and everything else to make life on Martha’s Vineyard, MA, comfortable for a little over 50 years. She was in the hearts of many. On a stormy day, as she rounded the point in Woods Hole, you knew you were going to get home.
I have painted this beauty so many times and felt it was time to create a print. This is her, as she is passing bouy #2 -“heading home”.
